About us
Our story & our mission
Dr. Chiti Parikh
My practice is as much a tribute to my roots as it is a testament to my belief in medicine's potential for true healing. While growing up in India, I witnessed firsthand the wisdom of Eastern medicine. After college, I embarked on a solo spiritual journey throughout southeast Asia, where I realized that health is a balance between the mind, body, and spirit.
I strive to empower my patients to take charge of their health and experience life fully. My top-notch medical training at Weill Cornell with additional expertise in integrative medicine, functional medicine, Ayurveda, and medical acupuncture, allows me to treat people instead of just diseases and labels.
My life's work has been making this holistic approach to care accessible and affordable to all. That is why I co-founded the Integrative Health and Wellbeing Program, one of the leading holistic academic programs at Weill Cornell, New York Presbyterian Hospital, where science-based integrative modalities are offered in an insurance-based setting. My mission is to make this type of care the gold standard for all.

Dr. Juveria Abdullah
My journey towards a holistic approach to medicine began during my global health work in Yamasa, Dominican Republic. I witnessed doctors focusing on prevention, nutrition, community, spirituality, and diet, to facilitate healing and promote health. This inspired me to obtain a deeper understanding of what it means to heal.
It was when I confronted my own health issue that conventional medicine proved inadequate. It was then that I embarked on a transformation that included changing my lifestyle, diet, and environment, exploring Eastern practices, and focusing on the mind-body connection. This inspired me to treat patients in a holistic way paved the path for me to become an Integrative Medicine physician.
I believe that a person's health is not just a circumstance of the body’s misgivings but tells a story about their life. I am committed to sharing my knowledge to help people become the best versions of themselves.

Dr. Zach Mulvihill
My journey into a career in Integrative Medicine began in college. At that time, my father began to suffer from a serious chronic illness. Eventually, he found a remarkable group of holistic doctors. I was amazed by their skill in combining modern Western medicine with the ancient wisdom of Eastern Medicine. For the first time, I saw my father’s health start to improve.
I started working in their clinic. Witnessing the profound healing potential of Integrative Medicine firsthand, in the lives of patients and in my own life, I became firmly convinced that Integrative Medicine is the future of healthcare.
While Western medicine, with all its cutting-edge technology, has much to offer all of us, it falls short in addressing the root causes that stem ultimately from imbalances in our diets, our lifestyles, our minds, and on the emotional and spiritual levels. Integrative Medicine excels at restoring balance on all levels, from the physical to the mental to the spiritual, with an emphasis on small but continual and meaningful changes.
